Huisman Equipment has the policy not to have any applications hosted in the cloud, therefore the application build for sharing document with their client had to be migrated onto the newly installed extranet farm.

Almost every SharePoint migration tool can migrate to Office 365, but none of them has support for migrating content from Office 365 to an on premise farm.

After testing different migration tools only Sharegate was suitable for this project.

During this project I was responsible for

• developing PowerShell scripts to migrate the content
• creating user mapping files to map Office 365 users to Ad users
• create field mapping files
